Monitor Audio releases IMS-4 Music Streamer

Monitor Audio has launched its new IMS-4 Music Streamer featuring BluOS and Apple AirPlay 2. The former allows the IMS-4 to stream to four separate zones and its BluOS Controller app offers playback from music services and libraries with voice control through a suitable smart device. Accessed through the app or one of the integrated control systems, multiple IMS-4 Music Streamers can be integrated with other BluOS devices to provide up to 64 different music zones.

Monitor Audio claims that lossless music can be played with resolutions up to 24-bit/192kHz to every room in a home network while AirPlay 2 provides the IMS-4 Music Streamer with flexibility as Siri allows users to request the track they would like to hear and then state the room they would like it to be played in. Like BluOS, AirPlay 2 lets the music be enjoyed separately or in sync throughout the home.

The rear panel incorporates four RCA analogue and four optical and coaxial digital outputs, a USB port for locally stored files and an RCA and optical digital input for hooking up additional sources.

The IMS-4 Music Streamer is available to buy now for £1,200 and you can find out more about it here.

No doubt, monitor audio is one of the brands that most of my family and friends utilize in their home or in their studio. I belong to a firm, which is a london based academic writing firm for law students, bestlawessays.co.uk where we need these types of sound-related equipment for our lectures recording, and live conferences. I think this is a bit expensive, but I will take to my team lead if we can buy these for our next lot.
