April 2024 issue now on sale
In concert with the times and, in particular, that most pressing of recent initiatives – the business boost – the issue you hold in your hands is focussed on the activities which traditionally kick-start our hi-fi year.
Firstly, on p32, you’ll find our report on the Bristol Hi-Fi Show where the great and the good, the established and the fresh-faces-to-market demonstrated much of the kit intended to keep us engaged and excited during the next 12 months. Then, on p86, there’s our choice edit of the hundreds of vinyl goodies that will be on offer during the forthcoming Record Store Day Spring Drop. I’ve already asked my local participating indie store to try and snag me one of only 500 copies being released of Katy J Pearson & Friends Presents Songs From The Wicker Man. Got my eye on the Lil Peep single as well. Fingers crossed...
Plus, of course, there’s our Group Test, which kicks off on p38, and this month concentrates on a selection of standmount speakers which will tidily fit into any room – no matter how small – and should be, with a little bit of financial jiggery-pokey, somewhere in the region of affordable for most of us should the bank manager be in one of their rare good moods.
Enjoy!
