Audio-Technica introduces ATH-CKS50TW true-wireless in-ears
“Additionally, there’s a feed-forward active noise-cancelling function, which ensures an immersive audio experience – even in noisy environments.”
360 Reality Audio is an immersive music experience that uses Sony’s object-based 360 Spatial Sound technology and allows any audio input to be placed in a 360° spherical soundfield, from the instruments, vocals or sound of a live audience.
The earphones’ multi-pairing allows listeners to connect to both their smartphone and computer or tablet at the same time without switching. They employ large-diameter 9mm HD TWS drivers to deliver deep, powerful bass, boasting an “easy-to-wear”, secure fit intended to prevent them falling out. A unique antenna design is intended to help ensure a stable connection even when in crowded places, while an IPX4-equivalent JIS/IEC protection rating guarantees they can withstand splashing from any direction. There is Fast Pair for connection with Android devices, while an LED light indicates remaining battery power.
The ATH-CKS50TW automatically powers on when removed from the case and boasts Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring for independent transmission to the left and right sides, aptX Adaptive Audio and adjustable sound quality, volume and equaliser settings via the Connect app.
Available to buy now for £150, you can find out more about the ATH-CKS50TW here.
