Audio-Technica unveils ATH-TWX7 earbuds
Built-in MEMS microphones are combined with beamforming technology in both earbuds in a bid to guarantee that phone calls are heard loud and clear, even in noisy environments. There are two call modes – Natural for quieter settings or Noise-Reduction for louder environments. The buds provide a claimed 6.5 hours of playback and up to 20 hours with the non-slip portable charging case. The IPX4 water-resistant protection rating also ensures that they’re equipped for use in rain and are both water and sweat resistant.
Using the ATH-TWX7 with the Audio-Technica CONNECT app gives users access to many additional functions, such as low latency mode, ambience control, EQ, touch sensor settings and more. They come in Ash Black and Rich White or Stone Gray exclusively on the company’s website. The multipoint pairing function allows users to stay connected to two Bluetooth devices at once and included in the package are two sets of eartips (XS/S/M/L): soft eartips for greater comfort during long listening sessions and standard eartips for a more secure fit. There’s a 30cm USB-A/USB-C charging cable too.
Available to buy now in the UK for £190, you can find out more about the Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 here.
