Elipson introduces Prestige Facet 34F
French hi-fi specialist Elipson has unveiled the latest model to join its well-regarded Prestige Facet floorstanding loudspeaker lineup. The 34F is a new three-way design fitted with a 25mm silk-dome tweeter and two 170mm treated paper cone mid/bass drivers – placed either side in a midrange-tweeter-midrange D’Appolito arrangement – partnered by two 250mm bass drivers with concave dust caps. The cabinet is a bass-reflex design with twin ports at the rear, while the gloss-finished front baffle carries the same distinctive silicon rings surrounding each of the speaker drivers – said to aid diffraction – as found on existing models in the series. The cabinet enclosure boasts optimised damping using different fabrics and is stiffened by internal cross-section bracing. Sensitivity is rated at 94dB/1W/1m into 6ohm and the 1,211mm-tall floorstander includes a plinth to help give additional stability and sound isolation. On
sale now for £2,495, it’s available in black, white or walnut finishes and you can find out more about it here.
