Lenco introduces L-92WA and L-3089 turntables

Swiss company Lenco is celebrating its 75th anniversary with the launch of a brace of new turntables: the L-92WA – a belt-driven model designed to: “ensure the vinyl listening experience is enhanced with no needle dragging,” – and the L-3089, which the company says is particularly suited for professional use and DJs thanks to its pitch control and USB recording.

The L-92WA comes with an integrated preamplifier and Audio-Technica AT3600 cartridge pre-installed, so records can be played straight out of the box. There’s a robust aluminium platter to give improved stability, anti-skating to prevent the tonearm from sliding across vinyl and it’s equipped with a strobe light feature that the company says is to see where the needle is without having to ruin the ambience of the room by turning a light on. A dust cover also comes bundled.

The Auto-return feature ensures that the tonearm is lifted off the turntable once the record is finished and that it returns to its resting position, lessening wear and tear of the vinyl. The L-92WA has 33 and 45rpm speed settings and will set you back £250.

The L-3809 is a direct-drive model with an aluminium platter that can be connected directly to a mixer or stereo, thanks to its built-in phono preamplifier. It features lighting for optimal operating convenience and a stroboscope. The company says that: “users can easily adjust the speed of the turntable with a variable pitch fader and the turntable ensures that vinyl records can be kept forever by transferring them to MP3 easily via the USB cable”.

Like the L-92WA, it also offers 33 and 45rpm speed settings as well as featuring a mechanical arm lift and a removable plastic dust cover. It costs £240.

Available to buy now, you can find out more about the new turntables here.
