Elipson introduces A680 power amp
French company Elipson is launching the A680 multi-zones power amp, which it is claiming offers: “the perfect solution for all multi-room/zone installations.” With six channels of amplification – three of which are in stereo – and a total power output of 480W at 4ohm, its key features include three zones, a pair of Bus inputs for audio sources, two Bus outputs to connect more than one A680 amplifier and individual adjustments for voltage input – trigger mode, auto mode, auto standby mode, stereo and bridge (up to 3x 150W with 8ohm loads).
A new integrated digital chipset minimises unwanted heat build up and it also comes supplied with optional mounting brackets for audio video racks. Measuring 430 x 88 x 335mm (WxHxD) and weighing 9.5 kg, the A680 is available to buy now for £900.
