Grado unleashes GW100x headphone
The new driver design features a more powerful magnetic circuit, a voice coil with decreased effective mass and a reconfigured diaphragm. Grado claims the re-engineering of these components for the 44mm drivers improves the efficiency while reducing distortion and preserving the harmonic integrity of music.
Based on the original GW100 design, the speaker housings and internals have been designed in a bid to diminish escaping sound by up to 60 percent. There’s a 3.5mm headphone cable supplied, the headband is padded for comfort and there’s a built-in microphone for taking phone calls etc. The controls are on the earpiece and offer full functionality, plus users can control the GW100x from a connected device.
The GW100x additionally comes supplied with a USB-C-to-USB-A cable for charging.
Available to buy now for £250, you can find out more about the GW100x here.
