Focal introduces Diva Utopia loudspeaker
Focal claims that Ultra Wideband enables wireless music playback of: “exceptional sound quality, surpassing CD playback and approaching the high-resolution audio of a professional studio”. It can be controlled via a dedicated app, the supplied remote control or voice assistants.
It features a beryllium ‘M’ profile tweeter, a ‘W’ cone midrange driver and four 165mm ‘W’ bass drivers in a push-push configuration. The power per loudspeaker is a claimed 400W total spread across three Class A-B amplifiers for the treble, midrange and bass. Naim Audio has designed the electronics especially for the Diva and Focal says the Naim Pulse Platform active model: “delivers wireless connectivity and seamless integration within a Focal and Naim ecosystem”.
