Naim's next-gen Nait and Supernait
Salisbury-based hi-fi specialist Naim Audio has unveiled plans for its third-generation Nait and Supernait integrated amplifiers. Available from Naim’s global network of retailers at the end of the month, the Nait XS3 – priced at £2,199 – and Supernait 3 (pictured) – priced at £3,499 – both include a built-in moving-magnet phono stage based on classic Naim designs that utilise superior components in three carefully designed circuit stages to achieve low noise and extend RIAA equalisation.
The updated models claim to have upgraded power amplifier sections to offer improved power handling and sound quality, but the power output of the latest-generation models is yet to be specified. Naim Audio MD, Charlie Henderson says: “These are the best-sounding integrated amplifiers Naim has produced, now with added love for vinyl. Major performance upgrades mean you’ll hear more from your music – whatever format you’re listening to”. Click here for more info.
