Degritter Fonoteek record cleaning machine coming early 2025
The new RCM combines revolving brushes for removing larger surface dirt, ultrasonic cleaning for bringing out fine details, rinsing with an advanced filtering system and quick drying with air-blades for a four-step cleaning procedure.
Degritter explains that: “ultrasonic cleaning takes longer to remove thick grime from record surfaces, so many record collectors prefer mechanical cleaning methods, such as brushing, to supplement their cleaning procedures. Fonoteek combines the two approaches into a single device, introducing a highly sought-after innovation.”
The cleaner features large active carbon filters, two 3-litre removable water tanks and easy to replace brushes, and a large heat sink – to support a higher cleaning volume.
And as versatility was an essential factor for Degritter while designing the new device, Fonoteek will include customisable programmes that can be saved, allowing the user to specify which sections of the washing cycle and for how long they want to use them.
The Degritter Fonoteek is expected to cost 6,990 Euros.
