Following the launch of its debut turntable, the Lunar 1, French company Triangle is imminently planning to unveil a follow-up in the shape of the Lunar 3.

Inspired by Pro-Ject’s flagship Debut Carbon, it features a straight tonearm made from a single piece of carbon weighing 6g, giving it the advantage of being both exceptionally light and rigid to reduce unwanted vibrations.

The Lunar 3 features an Ortofon 2M Red moving-magnet cartridge, with its diamond elliptical-shaped stylus along with 33, 45 or 78rpm speeds. Speed selection is done using a switch located under the left front panel.

It additionally boasts an MM phono preamp and high-quality gold plating is used on the outputs as well as on the RCA phono cable that comes supplied. The Lunar 3 is designed to complement Triangle’s active Capella speakers with finishes including Astral Blue, Nebula Brown, Black Star and High Gloss White.
