Sonus faber adds Lumina II Amator and Lumina V Amator loudspeakers
The two-way Lumina II Amator features a DAD (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter, the same as the company uses in its Sonetto series, with a Kurtmueller hand-coated soft silk diaphragm of 29mm and a 150mm mid/bass driver equipped with a custom-made basket and diaphragm, which sports cellulose pulp blended with other natural fibres. It has a claimed sensitivity of 86dB (4ohm).
The three-way Lumina V Amator combines the aforementioned 29mm DAD tweeter with the 150mm paper cone midrange driver and two 165mm sandwich diaphragm structure bass drivers for a claimed sensitivity of 89dB into 4ohm loads.
