Cambridge Audio offers new enhanced Melomania 1+
The earbud now features USB-C fast charging on the case. Offering nine hours of battery life from a single charge, the case offers four times that – 45 hours – of total playtime.
The Melomania 1+ also comes with more memory foam ear tips – medium and large to ensure a secure fit. Each earbud weighs 4.6g and comes with IPX5 certification protecting them against rain and sweat.
Compatible with the new app, the 1+ can customise EQ settings and is available for iOS and Android devices. Users can also check the battery level of each earbud, locate misplaced earbuds on a map and receive firmware updates to take advantage of future user experience improvements.
The earbuds use 5.8mm graphene-enhanced drivers and now benefit from the inclusion of Cambridge Audio’s High Performance Audio Mode, which uses the same hi-fi grade amplification found in the company’s CX range of stereo amplifiers. The Cambridge Audio says: “This default sound mode ensures the Melomania 1+ earbuds offer a higher dynamic range, a wider soundstage and lower noise levels than before. It’s a high level of audio fidelity that is unheard of at this price point.”
The true wireless design features Bluetooth 5.0 and supports AAC and aptX codecs – meaning smartphone users can stream high-quality wireless audio without signal drops. The Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ comes in black or a new white finish.
The Melomania 1+ in-ear is available to buy now for £120 and you can find out more about it here.
