ARCAM
A range of exquisitely finished £250 mini-separates, offering DAC and headphone amp
functionality, made its debut.
FURUTECH
Alongside a vast array of cables and connectors, this little carbon fibre clad headphone amplifier
from Alpha Design Labs was shown.
PEACHTREE AUDIO
This relatively new name debuted its Grand Integrated, a swiftly finished high end amplifier
selling for around $3,500.
MERIDIAN
The company's brand new flagship 818 'Reference Audio Core' source component was launched,
costing £7,500.
QAT
The Beijing-based company demonstrated its new 850, a new integrated
amplifier to match its popular MS5 music server.
DAVONE
This quirky Danish loudspeaker company had its whole range on dem, including the unusually styled
Mojo. Watch out for a review soon!
BLADELIUS
The Embla is a beautifully built, striking looking £3,000 network music player with internal hard disk
storage option.
DAVINCI
With its stealth fighter looks, the new 384K USB DAC was one of the most visually arresting digital
products at CES, with sonics to match!
CAMBRIDGE AUDIO
This room had a range of new goodies, but the Magic Stream 6 (top) was surely the most
interesting – a digital streaming big brother to the NP30.
RESOLUTION AUDIO
The new £5,000 Cantata Music Center offers CD and streamed music playback, along with
superlative industrial design.
MONITOR AUDIO
The popular British speaker brand was showing
its new Gold series, including this beautiful little
GX100 standmount loudspeaker.
VINCENT
The German audio brand's fine looking new K-35 tube integrated costs under €2,500; sadly no
direct UK distribution just yet…
NAD
The company's new $2,000 M51 digital DAC preamp and $3,000 M3 power amp make an impressive
pair together.
ASTIN TREW
The young British brand was showing its new flagship Concorde range, including this Concord
Integrated amplifier.
