Denon unveils PMA-150H integrated amplifier
Designed to be the hub for both analogue and digital sources, Denon’s new compact PMA-150H integrated comes equipped with a built-in FM/DAB tuner, headphone stage and HEOS streaming to access music services and enable a whole home multi-room experience with other HEOS models. With a claimed 2x 35W power output (into 8ohm loads), connectivity includes two analogue RCA inputs, a brace of optical, a single coaxial and USB-A inputs for digital sources, while USB-B DAC support provides direct connection from a PC for compatibility with PCM files up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD up to DSD256. Bluetooth and wi-fi are on hand for wireless connection, while Denon’s Advanced AL32 Processing Plus analogue waveform processing technology is claimed to give a “detailed audio experience free from interference” that’s “faithful to the original sound”. AirPlay and AirPlay2 are supported for connectivity with Apple devices or for grouping with other AirPlay-compatible components. Priced at £1,099 and available to buy now, you can find out more about the PMA-150H integrated amplifier here.
