Exposure unveils 3510 amplifier
The new integrated delivers a claimed 110W RMS per channel into 8ohm loads and features six line inputs, with the option to fit an MC or MM phono module or a plug-in DAC. Connections include bi-wiring-compatible speaker outputs, a separate preamplifier out for bi-amping or for use with a separate power amplifier and a headphone output. The AV input offers a choice of fixed or variable gain, allowing configuration as either a regular stereo or fixed gain home cinema input.
The company explains: “the 3510’s newly redesigned power amplification section draws on Exposure’s flagship 5010 monoblocks to deliver enhanced linearity and lower distortion at high power output, and with extra smoothing added to the power supply”.
The preamp section features all discrete transistors in the gain stage with a hybrid power supply circuit designed to ensure low noise on the supply rails to the gain stage. Input switching and volume tracking of the PCB have been further optimised in order to minimise crosstalk.
Other features include an aluminium casework and extruded front panel to control resonance and stray electromagnetic field and a newly designed remote control. The 3510 measures 440 x 115 x 300mm (WxHxD), weighs in at 14kg, comes with a three-year guarantee and is available in a choice of black or titanium finishes.
Available to buy now for £2,250, you can find out more about Exposure's 3510 here.
