Hidizs unveils S8 PRO Robin portable USB DAC/headphone amp
Utilising dual flagship CS43131 DACs, the S8 PRO Robin offers support for up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD256 via both single-ended (3.5mm) and balanced (4.4mm) headphone outputs.
These outputs offer a claimed frequency response of 20Hz-45kHz and 80mW+80mW at 32ohm is delivered via the 3.5mm single-ended output, meanwhile a quoted 160mW+160Mw at 32ohm is available through the 4.4mm balanced output.
The S8 PRO Robin is encased in a CNC machined aluminium alloy body and sports physical buttons for volume adjustment and filter selection. In addition, the DAC/headphone amplifier features a sampling rate indicator as a way of checking the quality of audio file that’s being listened to.
The Hidizs S8 PRO Robin works across multiple devices and platforms, including Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS and Harmony OS.
