KLH brings loudspeakers to the UK
Relaunched in the US in 2017, KLH may be familiar to UK audio fans for its electrostatic speaker designs from the seventies. Under new ownership, it’s hoping its new traditional stereo designs – two standmount and three floorstanders – will grab the attention of British ears.
The Ames (£399) is a two-way standmount fitted with a 25mm aluminium tweeter partnered to a 100mm Kevlar mid/bass driver, while the Albany (£499, pictured above) employs the same configuration in a larger cabinet with a 133mm mid/bass driver. The Cambridge (£798) is a two-way floorstander fitted with twin 133mm mid/bass drivers, while Quincy (£998) is a three-way with a 133mm mid/bass and 165mm bass driver. The Kendall (£1,398) is the flagship and adds a further 165mm driver. All speakers are available to buy now and you can find out more at the KLH website.
