Monitor Audio Group unveils Blok Stax 2G hi-fi furniture
Silicon isolation pads are also integrated between each shelf and into the base of the support structure in a bid to ensure that shelf absorption works at its most optimum, reducing resonances and vibration being carried through the shelves.
Stax 2G also utilises a bespoke foot design that facilitates height adjustment and allows users to select spikes or rubber feet, depending on the surface upon which it is to be placed. The company explains that the: “intuitive foot design ensures that Stax 2G can be levelled exactly, delivering a perfectly flat base for the high-fidelity equipment placed on it.”
The units come in three finishes – black glass with high-gloss black supports, natural ash plywood with satin white supports and a black ash plywood with natural walnut supports. There are two types of shelves – tempered glass finished in black or modern plywood, in natural or black ash veneer.
Prices are: Stax 2G Shelf Base £275, Stax 2G Shelf 120 £225, Stax 2G Shelf 170 £250, Stax 2G Shelf 220 £275 and Stax 2G Shelf LP £300.
