Naim unveils new 300 Series
The company explains that the NSS 333: “provides a high-resolution streaming solution supporting top-rate file formats from plug-and-play devices and streaming services. Using the NSS 333’s internal DAC enables improved performance from other audio devices within your system, benefitting from universal control across the Naim range; all operated from the Focal and Naim App.”
The NSS 333 supports Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Qobuz, Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth, and features a hi-res 5.5in display. It’s priced at £7,933.
Including elements derived from its flagship Statement S1 preamp, the NAC 332 is described by Naim as: “the analogue source hub without compromise, delivering the best in musical performance to your amplifier and loudspeakers”. The company heralds it as its most adaptable preamplifier to date, allowing connection of headphones and the NVC TT phono stage for vinyl playback. It features a built-in headphone amplifier (1.5W pure Class A) and can connect to your turntable using the NVC TT phono stage. It’s controlled via the remote volume control and input selection using the Focal & Naim App. This also costs £7,933.
Naim describes the NAP 350 reference mono-block power amplifier as a: “state-of-the-art 175W mono-block design offering tailored capability across a large range of loudspeaker options, from single to multiple amplifiers, with an internal cooling system that allows for discrete placement within your chosen environment”. It’s priced at £12,340.
The NVC TT and NPX TT reference MM/MC phono stage and power supply are an evolution of the Naim Solstice Special Edition phono stage and power supply pairing. The NVC TT is fully compatible with MM carts and tailorable to your preferred moving coil. It connects to the NSC 222 and NAC 332 preamps and can be powered by the NSC 222 or NAC 332, or you can add the upgrade NPX TT power supply for wider connectivity. The NVC TT costs £3,526 while the NPX 300 power supply is £2,644.
Naim is also launching its NAIT 50, a remaster of the NAIT 1 integrated amplifier, originally released in 1983. It’s a full linear integrated amp with 25W Class AB power stage, three input selection buttons, a 6.35mm headphone output jack, a 5mm domed white LED power switch and an aluminium construction using rectangular extrusion for a chrome bumper style. It will be limited to just 1,973 units, costing £2,700.
