New flagship DP-3000NE turntable from Denon
The DP-3000NE features a dark ebony natural wood veneer over a solid high-density wood cabinet matched to the metal platter, tonearm and controls, with insulator feet in an effort to keep it resonance-free. Denon says the direct-drive design: “delivers rotation speed that does not fluctuate, no matter the selected speed or load and reaches full speed almost instantly with no aging belt to be replaced”.
It comes with a clear removable dust cover and the new direct-drive motor spinning control board utilises an algorithm to control the high-precision motor’s switch mode power supply, the plan being to eliminate any variation of speed or unwanted vibrations.
VTA, cartridge weight, anti-skating (0-3g) and height adjustment options make the DP-3000NE tonearm suited to accommodate a wide variety of moving-magnet or coil cartridge types. The turntable measures 500 x 185 x 394mm (WxHxD) and weighs in at 18.5kg.
Available to buy now for £2,300, you can find out more about the DP-3000NE here .
