Roksan releases Attessa integrated, CD transport, streaming amp and turntable
The integrated amplifier boasts: “a wealth of analogue and digital inputs,” all routed to a 24-bit/192kHz Burr-Brown digital converter chipset, while analogue inputs include a phono stage for use with a turntable. It also features aptX Bluetooth for casting streaming services from a smart device. The price is £1,000.
The Attessa CD disc transport connects via digital coaxial to either Attessa amplifier and transmits the digital audio information from the disc to the high-performance DAC. Using the MaestroUnite app means an Attessa amplifier and Attessa CD transport combine into a single system after setup, and the company says the UK-designed custom firmware on board the disc transport: “ensures error-free, accurate playback”. Price: £500.
The streaming amplifier has the added benefit of BluOS, the multi-room streaming platform that is compatible with: “more than 20 of the world’s leading streaming services” and capable of streaming wirelessly to as many as 64 different zones. It has the same suite of digital inputs as its integrated sibling, all routed to the same Burr-Brown 24-bit/192kHz digital-to-analogue converter chipset that’s also compatible with MQA. Wireless connectivity once again comes in the shape of aptX Bluetooth, while the Roksan Caspian-derived toroidal transformer turns out a claimed 130W of power. It’s priced at £1,500.
Last but by no means least, the turntable comes complete with a unipivot tonearm, pre-fitted Roksan Dana cartridge and switchable phono stage. The platter is high-mass weighted glass with a bonded aluminium edge dampener and the chassis – with its feet designed specifically to isolate it from any unwanted external vibrations – is directly influenced by the classic Xerxes, Roksan’s very first turntable. It’s priced at £1,000.
The integrated amplifier, streaming amp and CD Transport come in either silver or black finishes, the turntable in satin white or satin black.
