Rotel adds CD player and integrated amp to 14 Series
Following the introduction of Rotel’s affordable line of components with its 14 Series in 2016, the firm has unveiled two new additions with the A11 integrated amplifier and matching CD11 CD player. Rated at 2x 50W into 8ohm with Class AB power output to twin sets of speaker binding posts, the £615 A11 amplifier incorporates four stereo RCA line-level analogue inputs plus a moving-magnet phono stage. There’s a built-in Bluetooth receiver with aptX and AAC support for wirelessly connected devices, too.
The matching £355 CD11 features a tray-loading disc mechanism and is equipped with a 24-bit/192kHz DAC with outputs available via a set of stereo analogue RCAs or a coaxial digital connection. Both models are equipped with 12V trigger connections and a bidirectional RS232 control interface for integration with a wide range of control systems and are available now in a choice of black or titanium finishes.
