Musaic unveils MPL for adding music streaming to hi-fi systems
Hot on the heels of its MP5 and MP10 wireless music systems (HFC 407), Musaic has launched its third wireless audio product – the MPL Music Player, which has been designed to stream to any stereo or home cinema system.
The MPL has an ESS SABRE DAC built-in while an audio playback ‘engine’ allows uncompressed high-resolution playback for uncompromised sound quality and support of almost any file type including 24-bit Studio Master files. It connects to any device with an analogue line-level input or via an S/PDIF or Toslink digital input. It's also fully compatible with the MP5 and MP10 smart speakers and so can be used in a multi-room setup.
It can be controlled using Musaic’s app for iOS and Android, which allows playback of music from a range of sources including streaming services such as Spotify and TIDAL.
Musaic CEO Matthew Bramble told HFC: “Our MPL Music Player is a high-quality audio adaptor that delivers the best sound quality for the price. We chose only extremely high quality components and applied our decades of experience designing high-end award-winning audio products to the MPL in order to bring a high resolution, high-end audio experience to any stereo or home cinema system. It’s also the only audio adaptor product that brings smart home functionality to any stereo or home cinema system. It can, totally uniquely, transform an existing hi-fi system into a connected smart home system”.
The MPL Music Player is available in the UK now for £249.95 and you cna find out more here.
