The Meters NOVU-1 Studio Reference headphone is now available from Ashdown Engineering via Sound Technology. Ashdown is the company that makes bass guitar amps for many of the world’s top acts, including U2, Foo Fighters, The Who, Pink Floyd, Sir Paul McCartney and Black Sabbath. Its products are usually easily identifiable on stage by the glowing VU meters – which also feature on several Meters headphone models. The new entry-level NOVU-1 displays the ‘VU meter logo’ on each earcup and is a closed-back, wired design.

With custom-designed 50mm dynamic drivers designed to deliver an accurate response across the entire audio spectrum, the NOVU-1 was created for use at home, the studio and on the go.

The NOVU-1 features a gold-plated 3.5mm stereo mini-plug with 6.35mm threaded adapter included. The price also includes a carry bag, while the cables and ear pads are replaceable.
