Acoustic Energy adds wall-hanging speaker to 100 series
Utilising a 25mm soft dome tweeter with WDT wave guide along with two 130mm paper cone drivers, one acting as a passive radiator for improved bass performance, the AE105 is optimised for wall mounting –either vertically or horizontally – with the listening position at or below the tweeter axis, and is designed so that, as well as hi-fi, it can be used to enhance the stereo sound from a TV, or as front L/R, centre and surround channel speakers within multi-channel home cinema systems. It has a quoted sensitivity of 91dB into 6ohm loads and crossover of 3kHz.
Finished in a choice of black, white or walnut vinyl veneers, the speaker measures 200 x 450 x 120mm, (WxHxD) weighs 4.7kg and comes supplied with rear mounting plate, template, wall spacers, and black and light grey magnetic removable grilles.
Available to buy now for £225, you can find out more about Acoustic Energy's AE105 here.
