T+A adds MP 2000 R G3 and MP 2500 R G3 to R Series
Alongside the introduction of the ASA G3, T+A is also implementing a new naming convention: all multi-source devices equipped with ASA G3 will carry the G3 designation, making them recognisable as the latest devices in the R Series.
In addition to the advanced streaming architecture, T+A has enhanced signal processing by introducing a new motherboard. The signals from the CD drive (MP 2000 R G3) and SACD drive (MP 2500 R G3) are now utilised to provide enriched information, such as cover art in the MusicNavigator G3 app, through Gracenote. These multi-source players are equipped with T+A’s separate and fully optimised True1-Bit DSD and Quadruple PCM DACs alongside an FM and DAB radio tuner. The upgrade option includes not only new hardware components for the streaming architecture, but also device-specific control software tailored to each model. Upgrade appointments can be arranged either through authorised dealers or directly via local T+A representatives.
The multi-source players of the R Series are now available in Anodised Silver and Anodised Black finishes, priced at £6,450 for the MP 2000 R G3 and £9,750 for the MP 2500 R G3. Existing owners of the MP 2000 R MKII and MP 2500 R are invited to contact their local authorised T+A retailer for more information on upgrading to new and improved ASA G3 spec.
Available to buy now, you can find out more about T+A's R Series here.
