Focal unveils Aria K2 936
The K2 936 combines a 25mm aluminium/magnesium TNF inverted dome tweeter with a 165mm mid/bass and three 165mm low-frequency drivers. The four aramid fibre K2 sandwich cone drivers are finished in trademark yellow – first used by the company back in 1986. In addition there’s a multi-port PowerFlow system, downward-firing vent and an ultralight foam core sandwiched between a layer of aramid fibres and a layer of glass fibres, which the company claims: “guarantees a pure and precise sound, with no colouration.”
With a claimed frequency response of 39Hz-28kHz (+/-3dB), 92dB (2.83V/1m) sensitivity and crossover frequency of 260Hz/3,100Hz, the Aria K2 936 works with a recommended amp power of 50-300W and comes in an Ash Grey finish combined with a leather-effect front panel.
Priced at £3,700, the Aria K2 936 is available to buy now and you can find out more about it here.
