Goldmund introduces Melos Active Wireless loudspeaker
Goldmund claims that Melos: “offers exceptional bass extension and an immersive listening experience through advanced crossover technology, delivering a lifelike soundstage that envelops the listener in a symphony of unparalleled realism.”
Designed with Proteus LS software, which includes proprietary digital filtering calculations and Leonardo time correction, its handcrafted in Geneva and can be connected to a computer wirelessly.
The company boasts: “Melos is more than just a two-way speaker; it’s a statement of luxury and devotion to sonic perfection. Soon to be accompanied by a bespoke stand designed to seamlessly blend with its aesthetic, Melos extends the idea of cohesiveness beyond audio equipment – it’s a complete work of art. Place it upon your shelf with effortless grace or elevate it to a grand floorstanding spectacle with the stand”. Able to stream wirelessly at 24-bit/48kHz, Melos pairs a soft dome tweeter (size unspecified) with a 178mm bass driver – each with their own 175W amplifier. It includes a digital coaxial in and output, measures 250 x 350 x 362mm (WxHxD), and each cabinet weighs 24kg.
