Harman Kardon introduces Radiance 2400 wireless home audio system

Harman Kardon has launched its new Radiance 2400 wireless home audio system, featuring: two ultra-slim floorstanding speakers, a powerful subwoofer and a digital hub. The first consumer product to feature the company’s patented Constant Beamwidth Technology, which was developed for professional solutions products, the company explains: “this technology ensures every listener in the room enjoys the same exhilarating sound experience via precisely tuned beam-forming components. This technology uniquely unites 24 precisely calibrated 32mm transducers in each of the elegant Radiance speakers to deliver superior sound coverage from corner to corner.”

The wireless floorstanding speakers measure 55 x 1,800 x 58mm (WxHxD), the lower section tapering to a champagne glass-shaped base, which houses the wireless components and digital amplifiers. They are equipped with Digital Loop Amplifier technology to correct the natural errors and distortion anomalies that occur in digital amplification and restore audio quality.

HK says a multi-room household’s entire AV setup can be connected to the Radiance: “so you can enjoy incredible home audio whether streaming music or watching the latest blockbuster”. The digital hub connects to a TV, game consoles and other AV devices, while wi-fi allows access to HD music streaming through Chromecast built-in or Apple AirPlay. There’s a multi-functional LCD touchscreen and a Bluetooth remote control, and the wireless connection between the digital hub, speakers and sub is ready to go straight out the box.

Available to buy now for £3,500, you can find out more about the Radiance 2400 here.
