Kanto introduces REN Active Speakers
Canadian speaker manufacturer Kanto is expanding its existing lineup of products with the new 100W REN Active Speakers. The REN features Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, USB-C and optical inputs supporting audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. The USB-C port allows users to connect a host of audio sources to REN Active Speakers including iPhone 15, Android devices, Digital Audio Players, PC, Mac and more. Plus there’s an HDMI ARC connection – the first time this has been used on a Kanto speaker – enabling a high-quality connection to TV screens. Volume can be adjusted using the supplied IR remote control handset.
REN Active Speakers also feature both RCA line-in and 3.5mm mini-jack inputs, enabling connection to traditional analogue audio sources, such as tape decks and record players with a built-in phono stage. In addition, the Kanto Audio REN offers a dedicated sub out with a selectable crossover, allowing integration with a powered subwoofer.
The REN Active Speakers come in a choice of six different finishes: Black, White, Cream, Green, Brown and Orange.
Kanto's REN Active Speakers will be available to buy in July for £500.
